Carrying the Message

I first joined AA out of curiosity, while seeking a program that would be of assistance to me in trying to overcome my problem of readjusting back into a society of acceptance, after too long a period of incarceration. At the first meeting, I was greatly impressed with the sincerity that I found amongst the members, particularly our sponsors, and the guests, who were also members of the AA. The more I got involved, the more I fell in love with the philosophy of the program and its members.
