Carrying the Message

Hope. . .enough for now

I really didn't think it could happen to me. Down in my guts, where the truth is, where only I live, though, it has happened and is happening. Things are pretty bad around here right now. In fact, they're terrible. I have no car. I'm living alone. My wife, whom I almost totally destroyed, is gone; my two sons, whom I never paid much attention to, are with her, and so is my little girl. Words cannot describe the love I hold for my daughter, for all of them. All gone, directly due to booze.
