JULY 1957 was a good month for magazines. There were no wars going, and all the news was good. Life featured stories on Billy Graham, the King Ranch, Maria Schell, and a rocket-firing in Utah for astronomical research. Life sold for twenty cents. Look and the Saturday Evening Post for fifteen cents, and Reader's Digest for twenty cents.
