Once Over Lightly

THIS was told us as having happened up Rochester way. It seems that during the half-time of one of the local indoor hockey games, two gentlemen walked out onto the rink, chipped a hole in the ice, and hunkered down beside it. They looked so businesslike and determined, everyone thought they were doing something efficient and important to the ice. The second half was delayed and then delayed some more.
