Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery

STILL in the Northeast: A Yale student was thoroughly crocked and equally lost. (Remind us to tell you about the several times we managed to lose a car in New Haven.) He was wandering around middle New England when he came upon a road sign which said, "New Haven 128, Boston 64."
