Carrying the Message

Editor's note: From a small town in New York State came a plea for help in communicating with other women in AA. "I am the only woman alcoholic here," wrote our correspondent in the April issue. Scores of letters from concerned women AAs poured into our office, and all have been passed on to the writer. We couldn't possibly have printed them all, but the following is a heartwarming example of the response.
