Comfortable but Not Contented

The small degree of happiness experienced yesterday can grow tomorrow

WHEN I STARTED drinking, perhaps It represented an effort to relieve the deep feeling of discomfort I thought I was experiencing. In the beginning, alcohol did give me that relief; at times, I became so comfortable that it was almost impossible to move.
