Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery

ONE OF OUR more enterprising members-to-be was stopped at the border. When asked, he told the customs officer that his suitcase was full of night-clothes. Apparently, the officer didn't believe him and made him open up. There, glistening in the sunlight, was a neat row of Canadian whiskey jugs. "Aha!" said the officer. "And you told me this bag had nothing but night-clothes in it."
