DAVID FROST went home on the night before Christmas and met a man in the elevator who was loaded down with ten bottles of bourbon, a brace of magnums of champagne, and an odd fifth or two of Scotch, rum, gin, and what-have-you. Some of the Christmas cheer had already found its way inside.
