IN THE GARDEN that is AA, we have a few weeds. Among them, the toughest and most durable dandelion is the bleeding deacon. I feel qualified to describe this species because I was probably the youngest bleeding deacon ever to reach the program. I was an instant old-timer, a two-stepping fool whose halo Hashed on the moment the alcohol fumes left his system.
