Storms of Resentment

THREE TIMES in my fifty-six years, I have undergone severe storms of resentment. The color of each was the same: I was raging at life and the people around me because I was then unable to face the real cause of my anger. One storm occurred just prior to my coming to AA, something over twenty years ago. The last two have been in recent years. All three have helped me to better understand the relationship of resentment to drinking, even though I lived through the last two without a drink.
