Carrying the Message

AAs who continue to drink after being exposed to our Fellowship usually have something bugging them, and return to the bottle for escape. Me included. The difference is that the others know what's bugging them and can do something about it, while I really don't know what's bugging me, what's causing me to return to the bottle. If I knew, then I, too, could work on it and eventually get rid of it. But it won't surface to where I know what it is.
