Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery

SOME DAYS-It-Doesn't-Pay-to-Get-Out-of-Bed. Dept.: This column is late, and it isn't our fault. If that cop-out sounds familiar, the true story sounds like every reason every drunk ever thought up for rolling into the manse at 5:00 AM. The other night, we left a trade show at New York's Coliseum--at the early hour of 6:30 PM--to trot home and write this month's column. However, fate was to decree otherwise.
