Dr. Marvin A. Block, a former chairman of the American Medical Association's Committee on Alcoholism, has specialized in alcoholism since 1940. [At a seminar in Lewiston, N.Y.] he stressed the need of education for prevention, saying, "It would be of little avail to cure every alcoholic in the world if we didn't prevent a new generation of alcoholics from coming up."
