NEWS OF THE WORLD in Review Dept.: Out Chicago way, a man was fined $340 on charges of intoxication and resisting arrest. He scuffled with a sergeant, clouted a patrolman, and kicked another while the three were trying to get him into a squad car. This wouldn't be unusual--except that the man was president of the local Support Your Police Committee.
