Letter from Florida: "Eleven years ago, a wild idea was conceived by members of our Fellowship interested in the sobriety of men and women in Florida's prisons. The idea was so farfetched that a man was heard to say. 'Those crazy AA people want me to take a convict to a stale AA convention and turn him loose for four days.' That man was a nonalcoholic and thought the idea totally and utterly preposterous, but he did carry it to the superintendent of the Florida State Prison and, strangely, it happened!
