To the AA who has embarked on this "alcoholic counseling" life-style, but who still might wonder whether or not he is fracturing our Eighth Tradition, may I suggest a method of solution to the problem? In the silence of meditation, he might try taking his own moral inventory, by taking all the AA components out of his life for just a moment. Put them in a pile. This is the AA message. This is the pile which we give away without thought of monetary reward. To keep the program, we must give it away.
