Sparkling Wine in a Crystal Glass

It started with - But the glow didn't last and the glamour soon wore off

IT ALL BEGAN with a sparkling liquid in a crystal glass--and ended with white-coated men bearing a stretcher. From the beginning, I drank too much. I can't recall ever taking just one drink.
