Racial Comparison

A Boston researcher has found that Orientals tend to get red in the face and show visible signs of intoxication after drinking amounts of alcohol that have no apparent effect on Caucasians. The finding apparently reflects a genetic rather than a cultural difference in susceptibility to alcohol, since the same differences in response were found in infants as in adults.
