"With the help of the World Directory, I located and attended the Sunday meeting of the Saigon Group. It was wonderful. Two Army men were there, and also a Vietnamese civilian who, I was informed, was the very first Vietnamese AA. It was truly a profound experience for me to hear this man's story. His English was scanty, but his message was universal. He is attempting to translate the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions into Vietnamese, so that the message can be carried locally."
