Now I Have Muscles

IN THE BEGINNING, they told me I had a threefold disease: physical, mental, spiritual. They said that recovery would probably come about by first keeping physically dry, then doing some mental housecleaning, and finally undergoing a spiritual renewal. They also told me that things would keep getting better, and that more would be revealed to me as time went by. I now believe that everything I was told was right, for my experience in AA has pretty well coincided with the advance notices.
