Keep trying
For three years, I went to AA meetings as faithfully as I could, yet continued to drink. I had a wonderful sponsor, who helped me in every way possible. My husband threatened divorce; my children had disrespect for me; I was terribly unhappy. But none of these things stopped my drinking.
