Deaf Alcoholics Offered Aid
ST. PETER, MINN.--An alcoholism treatment program for deaf alcoholics, the first of its kind in the U.S., has begun operating at St. Peter State Hospital, through the joint efforts of the hospital and the Minnesota Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. The program, which involves an interpreter living at the hospital and working in all phases of the program, is part of a cooperative vocational-rehabilitation project established there.
