Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery

OVER IN JAPAN, the Honda folks dreamed up a new gadget to reduce or eliminate accidents from driving bikes with full loads aboard. The gadget was a sensing device which would kill the ignition if it smelled booze on the driver's breath. Did it work? Yep, but it worked so well that the motor wouldn't run if the passenger had had even one snort.
