Carrying the Message

Another door opens

The big turning point in my life came when I learned that sobriety is a state of mind. It does not mean simply that a person isn't drinking. An alcoholic who is just dry still has overwhelming cravings for booze. But in AA we learn a new way of life. Our attitudes change; our sense of values changes; we try to become better people. And when we change, we no longer need to drink. This is the difference between a dry alcoholic and a sober alcoholic. AA makes the difference!
