Well, I left Bourbon Street Tuesday, had a wild ride of 430 miles (detours) to Shreveport, La., then on to Arkansas Wednesday. Between Little Rock and Conway, Ark., I finally found what I must have been looking for all these years--a place called Liquor Lake. Yippee! Now there's a spot where you can take a dip and a nip all at one time. Also, I passed a small town named Gin City. This is the first time I have ever been hung-over from reading signs. From Bourbon Street to Gin City--the story of my life.
