Once Over Lightly

Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery

IT COULD have been at this same joint that a drunk walked in and rudely and profanely demanded a drink. The bartender, filled with the Christmas spirit, gently rebuked him and suggested that they change places, so the patron could learn the proper way to request service. They did so, and the barkeep said, "Good day, sir, and would you please serve me a glass of your excellent whiskey?"
