Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery
ONE OF THESE TWO was later, much later, seen trying to strike a match. He tried several without success and threw each on the ground in disgust. At last, he managed to light one. He gazed at the flame fondly, blew it out gently, and then stuck the match in his pocket, mumbling as he did so, "Tha's a good one. I'll save it till later."
