Carrying the Message

Just two short years ago, I ordered a subscription to the Grapevine for my husband. After seven years of sobriety (and being a Grapevine subscriber), he had a nearly two-year slip (who needed the Grapevine?--it would spoil his drinking!). He had just been discharged from a hospital, after losing our home and nearly killing himself. Getting the Grapevine for him at that time was the smartest move I have ever made in my life! After reading the first copy, he began rereading all the old back copies (which I had saved), and that helped him back to his meetings and sobriety.
