The Fear That Binds

Whether in plush bedroom or dank cellar, our waking is the same

A SPEAKER at the meeting I shared tonight was a wealthy man when he came to AA. I was a Bowery bum in New York City several 24-hours ago when I had my last drink, and yet I identified beautifully with this man when he told of waking up in a dark room with sufficient drink, but full of fear.
