Once Over Lightly

HERE'S A TRUE STORY about a potted plant. We know it's true, because we stole it from Ann Landers. It seems that one of her readers had some house plants that weren't doing very well. However, a friend suggested that the plants were lonesome and would do better if they were in close proximity to the telephone. The reader tried it, and soon the plants were blooming.
