ACUPUNCTURE STRIKES AGAIN. For those who have been more or less befuddled by booze for the past couple of years, and may therefore have been oblivious to the recent interest in this ancient Chinese art, acupuncture consists of inserting needles in various parts of a person's anatomy and thereby relieving him or her of a wide variety of human ills. Obviously, the practice is controversial, and it is frowned upon by the AMA and some legal circles. However, it holds full sway in China.
