STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN--"There are boundaries everywhere for us," said Dr. John Cullberg, a psychiatrist at the Karolinska clinic. "People are afraid of looking into each other's lives. Feelings are tight, compressed. There's a formality. Everything has to be perfect in Sweden. That's why alcoholism is a problem in Sweden. It's a way of showing feelings."
