A response to that plaintive old saw "But in my business I have to drink!

A RECENT article in a magazine devoted to business interests gave five columns of space to the "problem" of the geisha-saki-dinner custom associated with Japanese business transactions. It seems that Japanese executives, when entertaining American visitors, feel obligated to throw an elaborate five-hour dinner featuring much ceremony, much saki, many courses, and a great deal of incidental Oriental music.
