Closed Mind

When you know everything you want to know

I DID NOT drink for nearly four months after my first encounter with Alcoholics Anonymous. I had sought out AA because I was being pressured into it. My drinking was affecting my marriage and my job. AA worked well as far as abstinence was concerned, but I just did not get into the program, because my mind was closed. I had no respect for religion and could not grasp the spirituality of the AA program, either.
