Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery
THE H2O MENTIONED in the previous story brings to mind a situation that existed in this country toward the end of World War I. Prohibition had been voted in, and soldiers who were in training in the U.S.A. were forbidden by law to drink whiskey. They could hardly wait to be shipped overseas to France, where they were not allowed to drink the water.
