Once Over Lightly
THE CHAP in this tale must have been pinting and cavorting, because he took a sudden notion to go hunting, although he was a complete greenhorn about it. After purchasing the necessary license and equipment, he headed for the woods, and in no time at all was thoroughly lost. Consulting the instruction pamphlet that came with his license, he read, "If lost, shoot three times into the air." So he did, and after waiting awhile for rescue, he did it again, and later on, the same, all with no results. Finally, he shook his head in despair and muttered, "I sure hope I get found soon. I'm almost out of arrows."
