Antabuse Implanted
TORONTO, ONT.-- Disulfiram (Antabuse), which produces a violent sickness when mixed in the body with alcohol, will be surgically implanted in alcoholics in an experiment at Sunnybrook Hospital here. The drug will be gradually absorbed over a six-month period, so that the alcoholic will be afraid to drink during that period.
