Carrying the Message

I was bemoaning the fact that new people at meetings, even after a time in AA, ask, "What is the Grapevine?" Then I was fortunate enough to be "drafted" as secretary of our group, after four months of sobriety. I was about the fifth choice; no one else wanted it. Anyway, I began to make announcements about the Grapevine and point out one article, probably pertaining to something said during the meeting. As a result, we had to increase the number of the group's Grapevine subscriptions from six to ten.
