Once Over Lightly

Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery

SOMEWHERE ABOVE, we mentioned a train. Maybe it was the same one on which a drinker came in conflict with sober society. It appears that a traveler on a Pullman car had finished his morning wash up and shave and returned to his berth, when he discovered he had left his toothbrush in the lounge. On going back to get it, he found a drunk cleaning his teeth with it. "That's my toothbrush you're using," he protested.
