STRANGE THINGS happen to those who drink to excess. . .such as the chap who spent an entire night on his lawn, trying to kill the garden hose. . . . The next morning, he cut himself so badly while shaving that his bloodshot eyes cleared up. . . . Later on, the poor fellow tried to quit booze and cigarettes at the same time, and went crazy in the process. There were just too many quick decisions--candy or Nicoban?--candy or Nicoban?
