For newcomers--and for all of us to remember - What we get quickly, we're in danger of losing
IN WATCHING the mercurial rise of various newcomers In AA, as compared with the trudging technique practiced by old-timers, I am reminded of the talented amateur who challenged the old pro in the movie The Hustler. There, the two approaches to the same end were juxtaposed, and the flash and dazzle of the brilliant youth came out second in a race of two.
