I am an old-fashioned alcoholic. I have a physical allergy to alcohol coupled with a mental obsession. I have no other addictions. I try to keep an open mind when it comes to the dual problem of alcohol and drugs. However, last night at my favorite discussion meeting, I became fed up with meetings' being given over to pill problems. This is keeping away old-fashioned alcoholics, as well as people who must, for a legitimate physical reason, take medication given by an aware physician.
