AN INFANTRY REGIMENT, on maneuvers in hot and swampy territory, was bedded down for the night. A private, passing by the colonel's tent, could see him sleeping nude, with no mosquito net, and the tent flaps wide open. "Don't the bugs bother him?" he asked the colonel's orderly.
