What is the alcoholic's bottom? Who's to say or to know except, the person who has reached his own? High-bottom--low-bottom--is there such a thing? If Joe or Jane didn't go to jail or didn't lose the home or driver's license, that doesn't mean his or her hell wasn't as bad for him or her as mine was for me. We all reach our own private hell, no matter what or where it is. It's up to us to decide whether we want to get out of it now or burn awhile longer.
