How a New Group Came to Be
Here was a place that had no AA. What could be done? What steps should be taken?
MY WIFE and I entered the church basement in Alpena with calm assurance. Both alcoholics, we were very familiar with AA. Through AA, we had achieved sobriety and the continuing, rewarding excitement of watching our lives and our family change, month by month, as though there was no end to the blessings of sobriety.
