With the gas shortage and fewer members attending AA conferences and conventions, we may find a better quality of AA in our local groups. In the past, it was not uncommon for members here to drive 300 miles a week to different meetings in the area, which are about fifty miles apart, on an average. That will have to stop. But many members may benefit if each group does more studying and discussing of our literature and becomes more knowledgeable about the whole program.
