Appeal to Chinese AAs

When I was in Hong Kong recently, I contacted AA in that city. Members there told me that alcoholic problems do exist among the Chinese; though every once in a while a Chinese man or woman attends a meeting, they do not return. The AAs feel that the differences in cultures contribute to this problem, and they have hoped for a long time to be able to reach one, two, or a few Chinese people who are experiencing a problem and want help. If just a few became successful through the program, they could be of great help to other Chinese people who, so far, have not felt able to continue attending meetings that include only Caucasian members.
