IN HIS ARTICLE "The Act Of Surrender," Dr. Harry Tiebout was correct, as usual. Surrender and free will are mutually exclusive. There is no way to surrender deliberately. Surrender--admitting, "I'm a drunk"--happens spontaneously. If we try to bring it about, it won't happen.
