I came into AA in January of 1969. In June 1971, I had my story in the Grapevine. Reading the Grapevine these past few years has been a real help to me, and it seems to me that nearly all members read it. What really burns me up (a legit resentment) is that there are never any stories in it from Canada. Now, if so many of us Canadians are reading the Grapevine, then why aren't there more of us contributing to the contents? We were willing to pay for our booze, so let's be willing to pay a small token for our help. I, for one, believe the Grapevine is one heck of a help to a lot of alcoholics.
